The Fairfield-Suisun School District is one of nine Bay Area school districts set Tuesday to receive a delivery of books with LGBTQ+ themes that are designed for elementary-age children.

California Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond is scheduled to attend an event at an elementary school in Richmond to mark the deliveries.
