Students are embracing reading, with students and staff reading more than 355,000 books over the past school year, according to the presentation given Thursday to the Fairfield-Suisun School District board members.

Jenn Roush, assistant director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment, was one of several presenters at the meeting giving the board an overview of various programs within the school district.
