Sachi Bansal of Rodriguez High School in Fairfield, and her sponsoring teacher Lynn Larsen, will split $1,500 as the first-place winners of the Solano County Water Agency’s Water Awareness Video Contest.

The theme of the 13th annual contest was “Saving Our Water is Saving our Future.” There were 109 videos submitted from 13 middle and high schools.

Bansal’s video was titled ” The Water Detective.”
