The city council opted to form a subcommittee to pursue finances and support for a new Markeley Lane, off Peabody Road.

Vice Mayor Pam Bertani, who serves the district, and Mayor Catherine Moy are the subcommittee. Moy has been meeting with Solano County Supervisor Mitch Mashburn and Vacaville Mayor John Carli. “They will do everything they can to help us fund this,” she said.
