Superintendent Pam Conklin announced her retirement from the Travis Unified School District.
In a letter sent Wednesday by board President Matthew Bidou to the Travis School Community, he announced that Conklin plans to retire at the end of the school year.
Conklin took over the office of superintendent officially in April 2017. She served as interim superintendent after Superintendent Kate Wren Gavlak retired in February of that year.
