The Travis Unified School District Board has begun the search to replace the retiring superintendent.
Superintendent Pam Conklin announced her retirement on Feb. 7.
The board decided to go with a third party search firm to find her replacement.
The board heard from three firms at Tuesday’s special meeting: Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates; Leadership Associates; and McPherson & Jacobson.
