While several members of Dixon High’s varsity and junior varsity football squads were advocating for JV Coach Troy Hensley and criticizing Varsity Coach Wes Besseghini, Dixon High cheerleaders and their parents had complaints of their own.
Several cheerleaders took to the podium during the regular meeting of the Dixon Unified School District Board of Education last night to voice their concerns about the cheer program and specifically, the coaching style of Cheer Coach Robin Chavez.
