I am writing to commend the Dixon Unified School District board for recently passing a resolution to urge the Federal Drug Administration to ban menthol and other flavors from all tobacco products.
I believe the tobacco industry targets our youth and that kids are especially susceptible to these highly addictive products. I am pleased our school board voted unanimously to pass the resolution.
