Graduates from the Travis Education Center were greeted by warm rounds of cheers Friday as they watched a montage of pictures, walked down the isles to their seats and then as they received their diplomas.

Lillian Hawkins said graduation was the finish of one part of her life and the beginning of a new one. Just the simple steps of being a teenager were the biggest obstacles Hawkins said she faced.

“Trying to keep up with friends was pretty hard,” she said.
