The Vacaville High School Class of 2016 – 444 strong – graduated Saturday to cheers, the sounds of air horns and a few tears from parents, students and even a few facility members.

Kelly Randolph almost didn’t make it to graduation. She describes the year as a challenge.

“Crazy home life,” she said. “I went to Texas for part of the time because my grandfather passed, then I came back. I went to Vanden High School for a time. I was out of school for time.”

“But I made it,” she said with a sigh of relief.
