A roar echoed across George Gammon Field as Vanden High School’s Class of 2016 marched in to their commencement exercises cheering Friday night.
The class totaled nearly 400, and family and friends in the stands matched the roar of the graduating Vikings with their own cheers, applause and air horns when the graduates were called to receive their diplomas.
Senior Class President Melany Cuevas said their time at Vanden wasn’t meant be the best four years of their lives.
