The Solano County Board of Education needed only 16 minutes for its full meeting Wednesday and elected its new president and vice president for 2022.
Trustee Teresa Lavell was selected as the new board president. Trustee Amy Sharp voted no and Elease Cheek was absent from the meeting.
“I’m honored to be nominated by my colleagues and to continue the good work we do for our community,” Lavell said.
