BENICIA — The school board held a truncated meeting Thursday, largely so district officials and trustees could get to the Benicia High School back-to-school event later that night.

The board only made two decisions: To create a board seat for the Benicia Unified School District’s curriculum council, and to approve the 2011-2012 unaudited actuals.
