The Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District will have a new superintendent taking the reins from Kris Corey in a few months.

The Board of Trustees, in a press release Thursday night, announced Jennifer Sachs will be the new superintendent of the district.

After a comprehensive selection process, the board unanimously agreed on Sachs’ appointment during a special meeting Thursday.
